Syrah, Carignan, Grenache

In the Languedoc, a mild dry winter was followed by a wet spring with heavy rain in the month of May that had the advantage of replenishing our hydric reserves. Thanks to a very hot summer, dry air, and favourable temperatures with significant differences between day and night, this vintage will above all be remembered for the high quality of the grapes. This somewhat atypical climate in 2020 has given us a wine that has all the qualities of a great vintage at Château de Sérame and in the Languedoc.

Harvested at optimum maturity from a selection of parcels to achieve the best aromatic potential, the grape varieties that make up this wine are cultivated and vinified with the minimum of intervention.

Traditional vinification.

Fermentation and gentle extractions at controlled temperatures of 25-28°C for 15 to 18 days.

Aged in French oak barrels and 750 litre terracotta amphorae
